My telegram No. 2 and Canton telegram to you No.4.

Note dated March 20th has been received from

Minister for Foreign Affairs stating that Ministry of Railways has

repeatedly written to you asking you to appoint representative

to negotiate revision of working agreement of Canton-Kowloon Railway,

but that no such appointment has yet been made. The Ministry of

Railways now gives notice of termination of original a greement for

through traffic in accordance with Articles 39 and 41 thereof and

requests that you amy be notified accordingly.
